Cleveland and Cincinnati Workshops
Dear Friends:
Cincinnati was dead, now Cincinnati lives. Long live Cincinnati.
Audiences are funny. Sometimes they are real quiet, intimidated, running away from answering, just grabbing on to the Internet. Other times they are ecstatic, demanding, vibrant. Today was the latter case.
They started out quiet...but then so do I, hell it is 8 in the morning and we are talking about the Internet. I always open up, out of choice, something I did when starting to test the Web and seeing all these people, interested, fascinated, some drawn back from a world that depends on them not changing. Then there are the people who want to change, who want to emerge and profit from this upcoming date with history.
Funny being in the right place at the right time. The time has to convince you the place is right. No one else can. No one else knows.
The ideas began flowing like a ripe peach waiting to be picked. I didn't know where they were going, I just knew they were going. Business fulfillment raw edge kind of ideas that blended in the moment to a brainstorm that was so much greater than I could teach them.
They taught themselves...they always do. Part of my job is to convince them that they can teach themselves. Once they do it's magic...it's interactive, it's online...all the time.
The audience is online, all the time. They know what they are offering. All you have to do is connect the idea with the implementation. Mixing media with ideas, mulch with fertilizer. They know exactly what they want, do you? Are you listening to them?
